About Us : Scott Reinwand
Composer/Producer Scott Reinwand began his music career at the age of 18 by learning to play the kazoo by ear. He dabbled in other instruments, the slide whistle and thunder tube as his favorites, but he always came back to the kazoo. Scott began playing live shows to small audiences around his native town of Provo, Utah and began to build a tiny, but fiercely loyal fan base. It was around this time that other artists began calling Scott in to do recording sessions on their albums. There were, of course, other kazoo players around town, but Scott had proven himself with his passionate style and interpretation of the instrument. While recording himself and for other artists, Scott began to notice other, heavier instruments that musicians were using – the guitar and bass, the piano, and drum kits. He saw that these were necessary additions to his arsenal to get a “fuller” sound. The rest is history – Scott has now produced music for the world’s largest corporations, networks, and ad agencies. Scott currently resides in Orem, Utah with his wife and two children – and a kazoo in his pocket.
